Working in a team, students examine the typology of industrial and public buildings and their structures, as well as the specifics of their construction. They are introduced to the properties of structures and their connections. Practical skills are provided in designing the spatial structure of a building, selecting building materials, and making fundamental structural decisions in accordance with the requirements for buildings. Skills are developed in performing architectural and structural drawings of buildings using computer-aided design programs.
